New Hampshire I Love You: But You’re Bringing Me Down

New Hampshire I love you - Spectre of the Brocken: Halo for the Observer

Grant me crisp air, the unique bliss of the White Mountains only I can consume.

Whisked away to the shores of Maine, where the salt-kissed breeze tastes like single malt whiskey.

But in the glow of a faint, flickering light,

I find love left for me in the window that guides me back home.

Oh, New Hampshire,

You say you are live free or die, but at times you are the weight upon my shoulders.

Oh, New Hampshire

 I love you,

but…

you’re bringing me down.
