The Same Way Home: A Journey Through Words

The Same Way Home - Spectre of the Brocken

In the abstract landscape of language,

words carry little weight.

Awaiting the touch of a reader’s gaze,

To bestow them with meaning and grace.

Each interpretation, a brick laid with care,

Building judgments, structures rare.

Yet in the end, our journeys morph,

On the same path, our destinies align.

Homeward bound through realms of thought,

Language guides us, though diverse and bought.

In the dilly-dally of words, we find our way,

On the common journey, come what may.

The Same Way Home: You can find this story in the collection “Spectre of the Brocken: Halo for the Observer.”
